ATML Pad Licensing

Overview

To accommodate diverse customer requirements, each of the ATML Pad editions is offered as a perpetual license or a one-year lease. Maintenance packages with one-year and two-year terms are available as add-ons.

Software Licenses

The following types of software licenses are offered:

• Single Seat License, Perpetual: linked to a specific computer
• Network Floating License, Perpetual: available to any user, on any computer connected to the local network (up to the maximum number of licenses purchased)
• Conversion - Single Seat, Perpetual to Network Floating License, Perpetual: a one-time conversion is available at no extra cost (other than the difference in the prices of licenses)

All software licenses include email-only support and version upgrades, for a one-year period starting on the day of purchase, at no additional cost. The period can be extended by purchasing Maintenance Packages.

Software Leases

The following types of software leases are offered:

• Single Seat Lease, One Year: linked to a specific computer
• Network Floating Lease, One Year: available to any user, on any computer connected to the local network (up to the maximum number of licenses purchased)

The software leases include email-only support and version upgrades for the duration of the lease, at no additional cost. Web conference support can be added by purchasing Maintenance Packages.

Software Maintenance Packages

The following types of software maintenance packages are offered:

• Per-Seat Maintenance Package, One Year
• Per-Seat Maintenance Package, Two Years

The above packages apply to single seat and network licenses and leases. The Maintenance Packages are transferred at no additional cost during license upgrades and conversions.

The Maintenance Packages include email and web conference support and version upgrades for a period of one or two years, starting on the day of purchase or lease.
